Yet another new name has emerged as a suggestion in AC Milan’s hunt for a new striker: Ermedin Demirovic of Stuttgart.
With just over 40 days to go until the summer transfer window, Milan sporting director Igli Tare is hard at work completing a squad that still needs several additions. The Rossoneri are working to hand over two new starting full-backs to coach Massimiliano Allegri as soon as possible, as well as Ardon Jashari.
A centre-forward is also a need, a striker to partner Santiago Gimenez who arrived in January and has yet to fully impress, despite spending over €30m to get him from Feyenoord.

TMW adds that Milan want a No.9 with Olivier Giroud’s technical and physical attributes, with a budget of around €20-25m to spend. This figure makes certain deals, such as the one that would bring Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez, impossible, prompting Milan to evaluate other options.
Among these is Dusan Vlahovic, a player who isn’t part of the Juventus project and who, with a year left on his very expensive contract, is seeking an agreement with the Bianconeri to leave Turin this summer.

Ramus Hojlund is another player being evaluated, but that is a move that’s only possible if Manchester United – after their latest additions – give clear indications regarding openness to a loan formula.
Milan are looking in the Bundesliga too, and while Victor Boniface currently appears unattainable for various reasons, Ermedin Demirovic could well be an option. The 27-year-old scored 15 goals in 34 games last season, and has a deal until 2028.
