Tottenham Hotspur have agreed to sell Brennan Johnson to Crystal Palace, but another Premier League club is looking to hijack the £35m deal.
Brennan Johnson looks to be nearing an exit from Tottenham Hotspur after failing to make an impression under Thomas Frank.
It has recently been confirmed that Spurs have agreed to sell Johnson to Crystal Palace for a fee £12.5m below the figure the winger was originally signed for.
This has caused unrest among elements of the Tottenham fanbase, with some convinced Johnson is worth more than the £35m fee which Crystal Palace will pay.

Bournemouth could match Crystal Palace’s bid for Brennan Johnson
Although Crystal Palace have had a bid accepted, it is up to Johnson to determine where his future lies, and he could soon have a second option.
According to The Guardian, Bournemouth are set to match Palace’s offer for Johnson, as he has been identified as a potential replacement for Antoine Semenyo. The Ghanaian winger is expected to join Manchester City, leaving a vacancy in their first team.
Aston Villa, Brentford and Everton are other clubs to have been linked with Johnson, but no approaches have been made at this point.
Johnson would have big boots to fill at Bournemouth
Should Johnson choose to join Bournemouth, he will arrive as a direct replacement for a player who has been one of the best forwards in the Premier League this season.
However, a move to Palace would see him play in a similar role to the one Eberechi Eze fulfilled before he departed last summer.
This means Johnson will face pressure wherever he goes if he leaves Tottenham. However, the man of the hour in Bilbao will surely back himself to be successful no matter which team he chooses to join.
