Tottenham fans are all saying the same thing about Igor Tudor after Liverpool draw

Tottenham Hotspur supporters have shared their views on Igor Tudor’s future after Spurs battled to a 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Anfield.

Tottenham Hotspur have been desperate for something to spark their season to life, given their struggles.

Igor Tudor was one they turned to to offer that spark following Thomas Frank’s dismissal, but four defeats in a row in his first four games left the Croat under pressure.

Spurs were reported to be working on replacements for Tudor following his struggles, with the game against Liverpool said to have been crucial.

Tottenham fans send Igor Tudor message after Liverpool draw

Tottenham avoided defeat against Arne Slot’s side thanks to a Richarlison goal, one that Tudor hopes will serve as a spark to spur Spurs on.

The Lilywhite faithful, who have had little to cheer for most of the season, have now given their verdict on whether Tudor should keep his interim manager job following the draw against Liverpool.

Many fans on social media took a united front, urging the former Juventus man to keep his place.

One fan wrote on social media that the club should stick with Tudor for now following the result.

“We have to hold with him right now, just hold. We cannot sack him after getting a draw. It was not an amazing game but it is a start and we have to build from this.”

Another supporter insisted Tudor had to keep his job after the draw.

“Absolutely. It would be insane to make a change after that.”

A third fan argued that making a managerial change now would only halt any momentum.

“Can’t sack him when we finally get a result that would help us gain momentum. It would just be like starting all over again.”

Another supporter felt the Liverpool result gave the players and manager something to build on.

“After today yes. It would be absolutely insane to get rid of him now that we have something to build on. The players will take huge confidence in themselves and in him. The last thing we need is more upheaval.”

One more fan was convinced Tudor deserved more time after the performance.

“100% should. Got the gameplan right and managed subs well. Hopefully this gives us some momentum. More of this please.”

Another supporter added that upcoming performances should determine the club’s next move. “If they put in a good shift on Wednesday and things look to be clicking, then stick.”

Spurs focus turns to Atletico Madrid and Nottingham Forest

Attention will now turn to the Champions League for Tottenham, with their clash against Atletico Madrid at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 next.

Overcoming a three-goal deficit will be a big ask for a squad depleted by injury, but it is a game many will hope to see even more fight from Tottenham.

But the interim manager is not entirely in the clear, as a defeat in the game against Nottingham Forest could spell Tudor’s end, with Spurs able to drop into the relegation zone should they fail to get a result in that match.

Sacking him after that game will afford them a chance to appoint a manager who will have some time to work with these players during the international break.

Whether Tottenham will turn to their ex-players or former managers in that case remains to be seen.
