Tottenham Hotspur will have a fresh sponsor on their shirts from the 2027/28 campaign, with long-term partners AIA set to take up a different role at the club.

Since 2013, Tottenham Hotspur’s iconic white shirts have carried the bold red lettering of AIA, the global insurance company that has become synonymous with the club’s modern era.

That partnership continues this season, with AIA still front and centre on Tottenham Hotspur’s home, away, and third strips.

However, new developments suggest that the familiar look could soon be set for a change, as Spurs prepare for the next chapter of its commercial story.

Tottenham and AIA confirm future partnership changes

According to an official statement on the Tottenham Hotspur website, the club has confirmed an extension of its successful association with AIA Group Limited, who will become Tottenham’s Global Training Partner from July 2027 through to June 2032.

It is understood that AIA will remain Tottenham’s Global Principal Partner and front-of-shirt sponsor until the end of the 2026/27 season, which effectively opens the door for a new main shirt sponsor to come in from the 2027/28 campaign onwards.

The report further notes that from July 2027, AIA will transition to Global Training Partner, with its branding appearing on the training wear for all teams and coaches’ apparel.

AIA’s presence will also remain visible around the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium through LED signage, and its campaigns will continue to feature both the men’s and women’s squads.

Tottenham’s long-standing partnership with AIA continues to evolve

Tottenham’s Chief Revenue Officer, Ryan Norys, reflected on the significance of the partnership and what the next stage means for both brands.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Norys said the collaboration between Tottenham and AIA has gone beyond just sponsorship, shaping memorable moments in the club’s recent history.

He stated: “During our long-term partnership to date, Tottenham Hotspur and AIA have made history together. Both brands have experienced significant growth as we have shared unforgettable moments on and off the pitch, including some of the most important events in our Club’s history.

“Importantly, the partnership has been able to make a tangible, positive difference in the lives of thousands of young people across Asia– bringing our unique brand of football coaching to a region that has such a huge passion for the game – with the clear message of empowering people to live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.

“We are incredibly excited for the next chapter of a special partnership that will see our two globally recognised brands remain synonymous with each other for many years to come.”
