Tottenham Hotspur’s reported interest in free agents continues to grow ahead of the summer window, with another experienced name now emerging on their radar.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a couple of free agents ahead of the summer transfer window as they look to rebuild their squad.

Spurs are said to be interested in signing Marco Senesi on a free this summer, with fresh reports stating that Tottenham are in pole position to land the Argentine despite interest from a host of clubs.

The same has also been reported regarding Andy Robertson, who is set to depart Liverpool as a free agent this summer, and Tottenham are once again favourites to land Robertson.

But Tottenham’s interest in free agents is not set to stop there, with The Telegraph now revealing that another out-of-contract star this summer is of interest to Spurs.

It is claimed that Leeds United’s Karl Darlow is now on Tottenham’s radar, with the Lilywhites’ interest stemming from a need to bolster their homegrown quota.

The 35-year-old is expected to become a free agent at the end of the season, having featured for Leeds 16 times this campaign and conceded 20 goals.

Spurs do have Guglielmo Vicario, Antonin Kinsky, and Brandon Austin as their goalkeeper options this season, but that number could well reduce, as Vicario is heavily linked with a move to Inter Milan.

Many Tottenham fans, however, are far from pleased with the recent links to Darlow, with some supporters believing this signals the club is settling for a Championship spot.

Spurs are currently embroiled in a full-on relegation scrap and are now in the bottom three, making relegation to the Championship a very real possibility.

There is also a chance that, should they go down, several of their top stars could depart the club in search of top-flight football.

Guglielmo Vicario has been linked with a move to Inter Milan, who are keen on securing his signature, while club captain Cristian Romero’s future remains uncertain.

Of course, if Spurs were to go down, it would be hard to lure top stars, making links with players like Darlow all the more understandable.
