Roberto De Zerbi is gearing up for his reunion with former club Brighton and Hove Albion, who Spurs host at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday as they bid to turn their disastrous campaign around.
The Italian has had a tough start to life in north London having lost his first game at the helm to Sunderland and Mohammed Kudus and captain Cuti Romero to injury.
De Zerbi had made it clear he viewed the duo as "crucial" players but they will not kick a ball again this season in a major blow for Spurs.
In more positive news, James Maddison and Rodrigo Bentancur are edging closer to returns and De Zerbi looks poised to provide clarity on when they could be available.
He is due to speak to the media at Hotspur Way from around 1:30pm.
