Tottenham Hotspur’s chances of getting a result against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League may have just improved after the latest news coming out of the French capital.

Spurs find themselves in tenth place in the league phase of the Champions League and are on course to secure qualification.

A top-eight finish is still within the grasp of the Lilywhites, but they have some tough assignments coming up, with clashes against Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt on the calendar.

Their next clash is undoubtedly their toughest one, with the Premier League side set to travel to Paris to take on PSG, who sit fifth in the table, but Spurs have received an early boost ahead of their trip to France later this month.

PSG could be without several players for Champions League clash against Tottenham

Tottenham travel to Paris on November 26, just three days after a big North London derby away at the Emirates.

The Ligue 1 suffered its first loss of the Champions League campaign against Bayern Munich this week, and they have lost several key players to injury.

PSG have revealed on their official website that Achraf Hakimi, Ousmane Dembele and Nuno Mendes will be out of action for a few weeks after picking up injuries.

Meanwhile, Desire Doue is also out injured, but the Parisians have not given a clear timeline for the winger’s return. There is thus the possibility that they could be without four key players for their clash against the Lilywhites.

Spurs will hope to have key men back for PSG clash

Tottenham have a lot of injuries of their own at the moment, but a couple of them could potentially return in time for the clash against PSG.

Dominic Solanke is expected to return to action after this month’s international break, and Spurs fans will be hoping that the England international is available to lead the line at Parc des Princes.

Archie Gray is expected to miss around a month of football due to a calf problem, which he suffered last week, with the teenager thus in a race against time to be fit for the PSG clash.
