Tottenham Hotspur appear to have made a decisive call on Yves Bissouma’s future ahead of the summer window.

A major refresh is needed at Tottenham Hotspur, with some deadwood needing to be moved on in the coming transfer window.

A few players have really struggled to make an impact in north London this season, and one name that readily comes to mind is Yves Bissouma.

The Malian has featured just eight times this season, with five starts, largely due to a lack of availability through injuries or disciplinary problems.

Tottenham’s Yves Bissouma exit latest as free transfer is decision made

TeamTalk are now reporting that Tottenham are set to bring its four-year association with Bissouma to an end.

It is understood that the 29-year-old will be allowed to leave as a free agent when his current contract expires in the summer.

Spurs do have an option to renew for a further year, but it is claimed the Lilywhites will opt against doing so.

It is further explained that not even the appointment of a new manager will prevent the Malian’s fate, with a decision about his future expected to be taken out of their hands.

Bissouma attracts interest from five clubs in Europe amid Spurs exit

While Bissouma is expected to depart for free this summer, interest in him is at an all-time high across Europe.

It is claimed that four clubs remain interested in securing the signature of the Mali international. Interest in France is there from Marseille and Nice, who have monitored the situation closely.

In Turkey, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are in the picture, with the latter having come close to signing him in the summer of 2025 before withdrawing over fitness worries.

There is also interest from outside Europe, with clubs in Saudi Arabia and the MLS – Charlotte FC among those mentioned.
