As Tottenham Hotspur edge closer to relegation disaster on the pitch, they are continuing to rake in plenty of cash.

Spurs are now staring at the possibility of being relegated for the first time in nearly half a century.

The change in leadership at Tottenham last summer, following Daniel Levy’s exit, has not gone according to plan, with the club’s top brass making repeated mistakes, the latest of which was the appointment of Igor Tudor.

Spurs are now reportedly ready to replace Tudor as they desperately try to stay in the top-flight, but their bottom line continues to look healthy.

Tottenham set to post record revenue due to Champions League exploits

It emerged a few days ago that Spurs are set to earn a prize money of £71.6m from UEFA as a result of finishing fourth in the group stage of the Champions League and making it to the round of 16 stage.

A new report in Football Insider has now revealed that the prize money from the Champions League is expected to take the club’s turnover to record amounts.

The report reveals, based on data from Deloitte’s 2026 Money League, that Tottenham’s revenue surged to £565m last season, which was the highest-ever total.

With the club’s offers set to be boosted by an additional £71.6m, the club’s total revenue for the 2025-26 season is expected to surge towards the £600m, which would bring it closer to some of the biggest clubs in the Premier League.

Spurs are in danger of a crippling financial blow

While the Champions League prize money comes as a boost to Spurs, they could soon take a huge hit to their revenue as they are at risk of losing their top-flight status.

Some experts estimate that Tottenham’s revenue could be cut short by £250m if the club go down this season.

Such a drastic cut would cripple the club, and it could take years for the Lilywhites to recover and get back their place near the top of the English footballing pyramid.
