Tottenham players are expected to begin reporting for pre-season training, and Pedro Porro is one of the first to check in early at Hotspur Way.
Pre-season preparations are now in full swing for clubs not involved in the Club World Cup, including Tottenham Hotspur.
It was revealed a few weeks ago that the Tottenham players were set to return to Hotspur Way this week, with many now preparing to meet new boss Thomas Frank for the first time.
Spurs currently have five pre-season games lined up in the coming months, with fixtures against Reading, Luton Town, Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Bayern Munich all to come.

Pedro Porro returns early for Tottenham pre-season
Given their poor domestic campaign last season, head coach Thomas Frank will be desperate to begin work with his new group of players as early as possible.
With a few expected to return to training this week, the Spurs boss now has the opportunity to begin preparations for the first pre-season friendly against Reading, scheduled for 19 July.
While several Spurs players are expected to return early to pre-season training, others who were involved in international competitions and went deep into them will return at a later date, including the likes of Archie Gray and Mathys Tel.
Pedro Porro has now confirmed his arrival at Hotspur Way with a post on his Instagram stories, writing, “the champ is here, glad to be back”.
Pedro Porro key to Spurs’ pre-season under Thomas Frank
Of course, the Spanish full-back was an ever-present for Tottenham last season, staying injury-free in what was an injury-laden campaign.
Porro was also important to Ange Postecoglou, as his standout performances saw him play a pivotal role in Spurs’ Europa triumph.
The full-back was also involved in Spain’s UEFA Nations League tie, where Porro impressed against Desire Doue, who he is expected to come up against on 13 August in the UEFA Super Cup.
Thomas Frank will be delighted to have one of the more senior players back early for pre-season, as Porro will be instrumental in Frank’s system.
