The summer transfer window officially closed on Monday at 20:00 CEST, and AC Milan were the most active team in Serie A, at least financially.
As a result of the gong sounding, we can begin to draw some sums. As Transfermarkt report, Milan generated €155m from exits in the 2025 summer window, the most of any Serie A club. In total, 22 players left, with 10 going out on loan.
The Rossoneri also spent the most in the league, with €159m invested on 11 new signings. Ardon Jashari and Christopher Nkunku were the two above €35m, that therefore make up nearly half of that figure. It means the net spend is €4m.
There were more than 170 new signings across the league, 72 of which are on loan. Cremonese were the club with the most arrivals as they welcomed 16 new faces, while they also allowed a whopping 31 players to leave, with 17 being loan deals.
As mentioned, Milan are the club that has invested and earned the most overall for their business. So when Giorgio Furlani spoke about a ‘revolution’ not being needed, it seems that we got one anyway.
