Massimiliano Allegri will be forced into making at least one change to his starting line-up for the game against his former club Juventus.
As Tuttosport (via MilanNews) recall, Pervis Estupinan will miss the game against Juventus. This was made official on Tuesday when the Sporting Judge handed down a one-match suspension to the left-back after he received a red card against Napoli for a foul on Giovanni Di Lorenzo.
Starting today, with AC Milan returning to training at Milanello after a couple of days off, coach Allegri will begin to think about how to compensate for this absence. As per the paper, there are two possible solutions on the table at present.
The first is the most likely and obvious: with Estupinan out, room will be given to his designated reserve, as happened against Napoli. Therefore, Allegri should rely on Davide Bartesaghi, who is the natural deputy at least on paper.
However, there is also another option: moving Saelemaekers to the left, as already happened during the match. This would mean giving Zachary Athekame his first league start, a player that Max has shown he can trust, sending him on against Napoli in a tough situation to help se out the game.
