Tuttosport: Juve forced to wait as Milan set timeline for potential Vlahovic attempt

Dusan Vlahovic is a concrete target for AC Milan this summer, but as highlighted by a report this morning, the Rossoneri currently have other priorities.

The No.9 role is one that Milan will have to reinforce this summer, preferably before the season starts, as Santiago Gimenez is the only striker available. However, the midfield (namely Ardon Jashari) and right-back positions remain the priorities for now.

As reported by Tuttosport this morning, Milan’s willingness to wait has made things complicated for Juventus. Vlahovic has already rejected offers from Turkey and Saudi Arabia, and with the Rossoneri being the only concrete lead for now, the Bianconeri have been forced to wait.

When Milan could make a move

The striker position might not be a priority, but Milan will definitely make a move soon. As things stand, sporting director Igli Tare doesn’t have a list of targets, instead he wants to wait and see what opportunities the mercato will bring.

In other words, the Rossoneri intend to get going with their striker pursuit in ‘late summer’, perhaps from the middle of August. Vlahovic remains a concrete option, as said, but the main issue will be the salary as Milan don’t intend to exceed Rafael Leao’s €7m per year.
