After finalising the deal for Niclas Füllkrug, the AC Milan management are working on sealing another intriguing signing.
Füllkrug underwent a medical yesterday and will enter the gates Milanello for the first time today to meet Massimiliano Allegri and his new team-mates. As Tuttosport (via MilanNews) report, Igli Tare and co. are working on another addition to the attack: Andrej Kostic.
The 18-year-old striker is set to arrive from Partizan Belgrade. The deal between the two clubs is still being finalised, but personal terms have been agreed and everything feels like a formality.
Andrej then Dusan?
The paper explains that this is a two-pronged move. Firstly because we’re talking about a very young player who has already shown his potential with eight goals for the first team at Partizan. Secondly, his agent is Darko Ristic, who also handles the interests of Dusan Vlahovic.
It’s no secret that Allegri often mentioned his name in the summer, but the Rossoneri never made a move because Juventus continued to demand a high price, even though the Serbian only had one year left on his contract. At the end of this season, he can leave for free.
Milan remains on the lookout for Vlahovic, and it’s possible that during the discussions between Milan and Ristic regarding Kostic, Dusan was also discussed. This summer, especially if they were to return to the Champions League, the need to add another centre-forward would be obvious.
