AC Milan remain waiting for developments on the Dusan Vlahovic front, but a report has claimed that some common sense will be needed.
According to Tuttosport, ‘the love story between Dusan Vlahovic and Juventus is slowly fading’. The relationship is now at an all-time low and not even the arrival of Igor Tudor – a former great admirer of the Serbian – has rekindled the spark.
The Club World Cup was the definitive proof: rationed minutes that showed Vlahovic is no longer Juve’s striker, but an unwelcome guest passing through. The club have been working for months, hoping to find a new suitor who can satisfy everyone from the grip of unhappiness.
However, time is needed and that’s why Vlahovic will be there at Continassa, where Juventus will meet in a week for their post-holiday reunion, but with his heart elsewhere.
Milan wait for news
Juventus cannot afford the luxury of confining him to the fringes of the squad. Not out of pity, but out of logic: such a move would further devalue an already depreciated asset. Thus, a departure remains the best possible solution for both sides.
First and foremost for the Bianconeri, who, in addition to being financially lighter – the Serbian will account for €43m in gross costs this season – are forced to make room to keep Randal Kolo Muani.

Having rejected Dusan’s requests for a contract termination, Juventus have reached an agreement to part ways: faced with an offer of €25m (a figure that would allow them to avoid the possibility of a painful capital loss), the club are willing to give the player €5m as severance pay.
Vlahovic has accepted, provided the club in question can guarantee him an ambitious platform. No Saudi Arabia or Turkey, then. Massimiliano Allegri’s Milan are interested, happy to welcome him back under their management.
First, however, the Rossoneri will have to complete a series of signings in other areas of the pitch, especially the left flank, recently depleted by the sale of Theo Hernandez.
