With the road to Ardon Jashari still blocked, AC Milan are beginning to consider other options, including one from the Premier League.
Reports today state that Milan are going to return to the table with Club Brugge to discuss the situation regarding Jashari’s future. However, if it does not go well, it could be the push needed to start pursuing other options.
Javi Guerra and Granit Xhaka have both been discussed previously, though the latter is a much more difficult target now.
New backup?
Elsewhere, Tuttosport (via MilanNews) write that the Diavolo are starting to evaluate the possibility of bringing American holding midfielder Tyler Adams to Italy. He has previously been reported to be an interest of the club and it could be revived under the current circumstances.
According to the report, a €25-30 million price tag makes him a valid option this summer, with this amount in line with the budget. As time passes, he is becoming a more popular candidate for the midfield rebuild.

However, he is not the favourite; that mantle belongs to Jashari. If that move fails, the American alternative is already there.
