AC Milan are in negotiations with agent Gordon Stipic over a renewal and a potential signing, according to a report.
Tonight, Milan will take on Roma at San Siro and Alexis Saelemaekers will come up against a lot of players he called team-mates last season, while on loan in the capital. Since his loan ended he has become a key pillar of the Rossoneri side under Massimiliano Allegri, and this will soon be recognised.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanPress), the management consider the renewal of Saelemaekers’ contract to be a priority, given that his current one expires in 2027 which is at the end of next season.
During summer window some offers from the Premier League came in for the Belgian wide man, but Allegri insisted that he remain. The current idea is to reward Saelemaekers with a renewal until 2030 and a salary increase to €3.2m net per year.

More negotiations?
But that’s not all. The newspaper goes on to point out that the representatives of Saelemaekers also represent Oumar Solet. During talks with the agency headed by Gordon Stipic, his name could come up.
Inter are also on the trail of the Udinese centre-back, but the Saelemaekers talks could give Milan the opportunity to beat competition from their city rivals and secure a defensive addition during the January window.
