It is something that Allegri himself has commented on, stating after Sunday’s win that his most liked part of the game was that his team were becoming exactly that, a team.

Getting carried away at this point helps no one. However, it is unavoidable to suggest that under the Italian, Milan look like a much better outfit. Imagine what things could be like in eight months, or even 12.

After all, the Allegrian effect has only taken four months to show signs of success.
