The AC Milan staff – led by Massimiliano Allegri – welcomed some of the coaches of the future to Milanello on Thursday.
Calciomercato.com report that there were students of the UEFA Pro coaching course there to follow the Milan training session yesterday and to take part in some classroom learning. It is the highest level of training for the coaches of the future, and therefore a valuable experience to learn up close.
As written on the FIGC (Italian Football Federation) website, the students were guests at Milanello for a training course called ‘Two Days with the Top of the Class’. These were days of classroom discussions and in-depth insights into the Milan team’s working methods.
Allegri welcomed the aspiring coaches of the future to answer all their questions, curiosities and queries. Two of the members of his staff, namely Simone Folletti and Enrico Maffei, also gave a lesson to those present.
The UEFA Pro course students were accompanied to Milanello by the director of the Coaching School, Renzo Ulivieri, the secretary of the Technical Sector, Paolo Piani, and teacher Ferretto Ferretti.
Based on the fact that Milan are top of the table in Serie A and Allegri was awarded the Coach of the Month by the Lega for November, there might not be anyone better to learn from.
