Video: Christian Pulisic named Milan ‘MVP of the Month’ – the stats from September

Christian Pulisic had an excellent month of September for AC Milan, as he helped lead the side to first in the Serie A table.

There have been many months where Pulisic has shone, and September was the latest, with the pressure falling onto his shoulders due to injuries and poor performances. It would certainly be fair to suggest that he has been the best player this season.

So, it does not come as a shock that, after a fantastic month, he has been named the ‘MVP of the Month’ this afternoon on the club’s social media.

Against Bologna, the American only played 25 minutes, but still left a decent impression in a short period of time. When he returned to the starting lineup against Udinese, he made his presence known, getting two goals and an assist.

This form continued in the final two games of the month, as he added a goal in the Coppa Italia, before an instrumental performance against Napoli last weekend.
