Alfie Devine is continuing to enjoy a fabulous spell at Preston North End, with the Tottenham academy graduate netting the match-winner against Portsmouth on Saturday.
Devine became Tottenham’s youngest debutant and goalscorer at the start of 2021, and there were big expectations on the youngster at Hotspur Way at the time.
However, the attacking midfielder has seen his stock drop over the last couple of years after some middling loan spells away from N17.
The Tottenham youngster has reminded everyone of his quality since his move to Preston last summer, and he once again proved to be the hero for the Championship club on Saturday night.

The Spurs youngster started as the most advanced of Preston’s three-man midfield at Deepdale and scored the only goal of the game on 40 minutes as the home side emerged 1-0 winners against Pompey.
The 21-year-old got on the end of a chipped ball into the box from left wing-back Andrija Vukcevic, and produced a brilliantly directed looping header into the far corner.
It was Devine’s sixth goal of the season in 30 Championship outings as the youngster continues to catch the eye with his displays at Lancashire.

Spurs face a big decision on Devine this summer
The attacking midfielder will turn 22 this summer, and Tottenham face a big decision on his future.
Last summer, Alasdair Gold said that this could be a make-or-break season for Devine, who is certainly showing at Deepdale that he is not short of talent.
According to reports, some Premier League sides have shown an interest in the Spurs academy midfielder, and the Lilywhites will have to decide between cashing in on the youngster or persisting with him.
