Tottenham striker Will Lankshear found the back of the net again for Oxford United on Saturday, but he could not stop his side from falling to a defeat.
Lankshear has an exceptional record in youth football for Spurs, and he made his mark in the first-team last season, scoring his first senior goal for the club in their Europa League clash at Galatasaray.
The centre-forward struggled to make his mark on loan at West Brom last season, failing to find the back of the net in 13 appearances for the Baggies.
However, the centre-forward is now proving himself in his second stint in the Championship with Oxford United, and he made a mark against his former side on Saturday.

Oxford, who are fighting to stay up in the Championship, travelled away to the Hawthorns to take on West Brom, who are managed by Ryan Mason.
Lankshear netted the game’s opening goal against the run of play on 54 minutes, being on hand at the far post to convert a cross from the right.
However, his goal was cancelled out just two minutes later through an own goal by Greg Leigh, before Aune Huggebo netted the winner for the home side on 70 minutes.

Spurs will be keeping a keen eye on Lankshear’s development
This was the 20-year-old’s fifth strike of the season in 14 matches, which is an impressive goal return, considering that he plays for a team which finds itself 21st in the table.
Lanskhear was one of five Spurs youngsters who travelled on the pre-season tour to Asia, where he got to work closely with Thomas Frank and his coaching staff.
There is no doubt that Tottenham will be keeping close tabs on the striker’s development, and he will be hoping that his performances catch the eye of Frank.
