AC Milan and Francesco Camarda were in favour of him having surgery to solve the shoulder issue he was struggling with, and it will now go ahead.
When it was revealed that Camarda had an issue, Lecce were quick to state that the youngster would be able to recover with a programme, without the need for anything further. However, Milan were adamant from the start that he should have a procedure.
The big sticking point, it seems, was regarding his future. If he had the surgery, the Rossoneri wanted him to return and with the Giallorossi’s future clause, they were understandably reluctant to say yes. Now, a solution may have been found.
Surgery for Camarda
Antonio Vitiello, this morning, relays confirmation from Lecce on his X account that the starlet will now head for surgery.
“US Lecce announces that the footballer Francesco Camarda will undergo surgery today for a problem with his right shoulder.”
Presumably, this now means a solution has been found to the situation, and one may suggest it is probably in Lecce’s favour if they are the ones to announce it. After all, if the deal remains in place for the summer, they will want to prioritise his health, and surgery is the best thing for that.
