Vitiello: Nkunku has offers from Saudi Arabia but his stance is clear – the latest

Christopher Nkunku has received a couple of offers from Saudi Arabia, but according to a report, the Frenchman has no intention of leaving AC Milan for now.

It has been a tough first six months for Nkunku with the red and black, scoring just one goal in 14 appearances. Considering that Milan paid a whopping €37-38m for him in the summer, they are definitely scratching their heads at the moment.

Naturally, the failure to impress has also resulted in some transfer rumours in the last few weeks, with the Rossoneri keeping all options open. However, it seems Nkunku won’t be moving to the Saudi Arabian league any time soon.

Nkunku rejects Saudi Arabia

Speaking about the situation in his latest YouTube video, Antonio Vitiello confirmed that a couple of offers have arrived from Saudi Arabian clubs. However, the striker doesn’t want to move there, also because he wants to prove himself at Milan in the second half of the season.

“The player has attracted interest from Saudi Arabian clubs. He has received a couple of offers from Saudi clubs but honestly, from what we understand, he has no intention of accepting any of these offers.

“He would like to impose himself at Milan, in one way or another, as he feels it’s his responsibility to live up to the price tag. It’s more of a mental block than anything. People close to the player are telling us the same thing: the main problem is psychological,” he stated.
