This afternoon, the Milan Futuro finished their first full year with a draw against Vogherese. A back-and-forth game, and Massimo Oddo will be left frustrated with the result.
2025 was the first full year for the Milan Futuro project, after its inception in the 2024/25 season, which saw them relegated to Serie D. Today, they ended their year with a draw, not the most positive result, but it certainly could have been worse.
Oddo’s side fell behind in the first half, but a goal from Max Ibrahimovic levelled the scoring shortly after.
After the half-time interval, it would be the young Rossoneri team to get the advantage, with a goal from Zito. However, it would not last, as Vogherese equalised 20 minutes from time. Certainly not the best result.
Year in review
The latest result means they finish the year with 15 victories and an equal number of defeats in all competitions. It certainly could have been better, but for a team trying to find its feet, it is not a bad year.
What must be said is that the project is working. Davide Bartesaghi is a fully fledged first teamer, whilst the mercato has been kind with the likes of Alex Jimenez proving to be profitable.
