Watch: Allegri implements ‘red arse’ punishment for Milan players in training

Massimiliano Allegri has made many changes to AC Milan’s training routines, but he also hasn’t forgotten to keep things fun for the players. 

A lot has been said about Allegri’s impact so far on the training ground, from exhausting sessions to strict rules on how to act. However, as shown by a video on social media tonight, he also hasn’t forgotten that the players must have some fun every now and then.

After being divided into teams for some of the exercises, the coaching staff kept scores and crowned a winner at the end. The reward? Well, they got the opportunity to shoot a ball as hard as they could towards the losers, lined up in the goal.

It’s a punishment with many names around the world, such as red arse in the UK, and it’s one that always results in smiles. Even for the losers. Clearly, the players are enjoying themselves so far and Allegri’s ability to get everyone onboard has been on display.
