AC Milan have shared more insights from the Derby della Madonnina win over Inter, with a ‘behind the scenes’ video on their official channels.

As a reminder, Milan took the first derby of 2025-26 with a 1-0 win at San Siro. The only goal of the game came early in the second half and it came from Christian Pulisic as he fired in a rebound from Alexis Saelemaekers’ shot.

There was drama inside the last 20 minutes, as a penalty was awarded for a foul by Strahinja Pavlovic on Marcus Thuram after a VAR review. The script was written for Hakan Calhanoglu, but Mike Maignan had other ideas and kept out his spot kick.

Since then – after the 1-0 win over Lazio at the weekend – Milan have not only jumped above their city rivals but they have reclaimed top spot in the Serie A table. The club have shared a video on their YouTube channel with some of the best bits from the day.
