As Milan entered five minutes of added time it looked like it wasn’t going to be their night, yet it was a case of 30th time lucky in terms of shots on goal. Moments after Christian Pulisic had an attempt blocked behind, a 12th corner finally yielded a goal.

The set-piece was whipped into the near post took a flick off the head of Frendrup, and the Portuguese was waiting near the penalty spot to head home. It would end up finishing 1-1, but only after more late drama with the away side missing a penalty.
