Francesco Camarda has had a cracking start to his loan spell at Lecce. After scoring a hat-trick against amateur side ASV Natz, the Milan loanee also found the back of the net against Spezia yesterday.
Milan decided to send Camarda out on loan for the season, agreeing on a loan with an option to buy and a buy-back option with Lecce. So far, it has turned out to be the right decision as after the hat-trick against Natz, the youngster scored against Spezia yesterday.
Camarda came on for the second half and with just 15 minutes left of the game, he picked up a good position inside the penalty box. Sure enough, a good cross meant he only had to get a touch on the ball, scoring the 2-1 winner for the Via del Mare side.

For Milan, it’s obviously great that the 17-year-old has had such a positive impact, while Lecce’s willingness to field him is a good sign ahead of the season to come. At the end of the day, the Rossoneri chose that club so that the striker would get playing time.
Milan and Lecce will face each other in the second round of the 2025-25 Serie A campaign, so perhaps we will get to see the youngster in proper action relatively soon.
