Watch: Milan loanee Chukwueze scores for Fulham with permanent move increasingly likely

Samuel Chukwueze scored a crucial goal for Fulham in their 2-1 win against Brighton yesterday, with a permanent move now increasingly likely. 

Chukwueze left Milan on a season-long loan in the summer, having struggled to impress consistently with the red and black shirt. An option to buy was added in the deal, worth just shy of €30m, and it looks like it will be triggered after the season.

Yesterday, the winger scored his third goal for the club (he also has four assists) and it was a crucial one, finding the equaliser against Brighton in the 72nd minute. He made a great run on the right flank and brought down the ball nicely, before slotting it home (see video below).

It helped spark a comeback win for Fulham and a lot of the fans are already calling for Chukwueze to be redeemed. Having switched playing systems, no longer playing with classic wingers, Milan would be more than happy to bank the €30m in the summer.

Despite admitting that he misses Milan, Chukwueze also appears willing to make his stay permanent, seeing as he’s getting more minutes than he did with the Rossoneri.
