Watch: Modric’s emotion and Allegri’s rage – unseen footage from Milan 2-1 Napoli

Some behind the scenes details from AC Milan’s win over Napoli have come to light in a couple of different videos.

Firstly, Lega Serie A published a video which showed some close-ups from the match, which ended 2-1 to Milan. It shows the arrival of the players to the stadium, the goals from unseen angles, the reactions of the coaches and the post-match emotions.

Then there is the DAZN ‘BordoCam’ which shows Massimiliano Allegri trusting Luka Modric’s timing and methods in managing the pace of the match. He is the one that the team revolves around, and who the coach asks to take charge.

At the start of the match Modric says to Pulisic: “Let’s have fun, this is football.” At the end he says to Gabbia: “This is a match, this is how you play!” In between, there are many very interesting scenes especially in the dugout, while at the end Allegri boots a ball away in frustration.
