AC Milan capped off 2025 in ideal fashion, with three goals and three vital points against Hellas Verona at San Siro.

Milan wanted to try and demonstrate that they are capable of beating the struggling teams with a degree of comfort, and they did exactly that in the lunchtime kick-off, moving back top of the league for the time being.

Christian Pulisic got the first goal just before the break, then Christopher Nkunku notched his first two goals in Serie A to make it 3-0, which it would remain. The calendar year is in the books, with Cagliari up next on January 2.
