AC Milan enjoyed their trip to the lake on Thursday in the end, but they had to weather choppy waters before surging away.
As the stats reflect, Como dominated large passages of the game, and they took the lead early on as Marc-Oliver Kempf headed in a corner. They had other chances too, with Mike Maignan making excellent stops to deny Nico Paz and Luca Da Cunha.
Milan were rather gifted a route back into the game just before the break as Kempf brought Adrien Rabiot down inside the box, and Christopher Nkunku netted the penalty.
That seemed to inspire belief, as Rabiot then scored early in the second half and right at the end to seal a big 3-1 victory for Massimiliano Allegri’s man.
