Adrien Rabiot’s fantastic start to the 2025-26 season continued as he netted his first goal for France in nearly one year.
After Milan’s on-loan striker Francesco Camarda had got on the scoresheet for Italy U21s a couple of hours prior, Rabiot netted for Les Bleus in a 3-0 World Cup qualifier win over Azerbaijan. The assist came from Kylian Mbappe, and the back-post header was delightful.
It is the first time that Rabiot has scored for his country since November 17, when he scored twice at San Siro in their 3-1 victory over Italy. Now, he will hope to bring more goals back to San Siro.
