This afternoon, Igli Tare has gone to Casa Milan to work on the potential incomings in this late stage of the window for AC Milan.
It seemed like Milan would have a relatively quiet end of the mercato. However, things have been turned on their head in the past 24 hours. Now, all cylinders are firing, and it looks like the club could make a couple of signings.
Jean-Philippe Mateta is the big name of interest, and it seems the Frenchman could actually move to Serie A this month, despite it seeming like he was set for a move to Nottingham Forest. Whilst talks are ongoing regarding defensive additions.
Tare arrives at Casa Milan
With things hotting up, Tare has been called to Casa Milan, where he will presumably work with the management and the recruitment team to get any last-minute deals done. Massimiliano Allegri was also present at the headquarters this morning, so whether he left instructions remains unclear.
