Watch: Theo Hernandez reunites with Kessie and continues great start for Al-Hilal

Two of AC Milan’s 2021-22 Scudetto winners were reunited on Friday night as Franck Kessie met Theo Hernandez again.

Both Kessie and Theo played a huge part in Milan’s upturn which began six years ago and culminated with lifting the title three years ago. After that league trophy, Kessie headed to Barcelona on a free transfer and then joined Al-Ahli.

Theo meanwhile departed the Rossoneri in the last summer transfer window, choosing to continue his career at Al-Hilal who are coached by Simone Inzaghi. The Frenchman and the Ivorian faced each other last night, and there was room for a reunion.

In addition to that, Theo scored his second goal in three games for Al-Hilal. It has been a positive start for the former Real Madrid man in Saudi Arabia, and Inzaghi has come under fire on social media for bringing him off early.
