AC Milan’s CEO Giorgio Furlani gave a brief comment on the sidelines at the raduno, insisting that the aim is to win every trophy next year.
Last season saw the Rossoneri finish eighth in the league, get dumped out of Europe by Feyenoord and lose the Coppa Italia final to Bologna. This led to a revolution in the management, with Igli Tare coming in as the sporting director before Massimiliano Allegri was named as the head coach.
Tijjani Reijnders, Theo Hernandez and several loanees/expiring contracts have headed out of the door already as the new leadership look to put their stamp on things. Luka Modric and Samuele Ricci are the first pieces of the rebuild but there is plenty more to come, hopefully Ardon Jashari firstly.
Furlani spoke to Milan TV while watching on from the sidelines at Milanello as Allegri put the lads through their paces. He gave a short comments to the official channel which was relayed by MilanNews.
“We start again, new season. Last one is over, let’s look forward. The goal is always the same for Milan: to be competitive to win all the trophies we participate in. Let’s look forward and so Forza Milan, always!”
