Adi Hutter to Tottenham twist: Spurs decision-makers are taking their time

A new update has revealed how close or otherwise Tottenham Hotspur are to appointing Adi Hutter as Igor Tudor’s replacement.

Tudor has failed to convince since replacing Thomas Frank at the helm, with the Croat picking up just a point from his five Premier League games in charge, which has left Spurs just a point off the relegation zone.

Reports indicate that the Tottenham hierarchy views the international break as the perfect time to make a managerial change, and a top contender has now emerged.

It has been claimed by some outlets over the last few days that former Monaco boss Adi Hutter could be in line to replace Tudor in an interim role for the club’s final seven matches of the season.

Sky Germany have now confirmed that Tudor is indeed at major risk of losing his job following the club’s bruising loss against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

They also relay the claims made in the British press that Hutter is one of the contenders Tottenham are considering bringing in temporarily.

However, Sky Germany add that despite the growing speculation linking Hutter with a move to Tottenham, the North London club are yet to reach out to the experienced Austrian coach.

Spurs may not have made a final decision on Tudor yet

Interestingly, some sources believe that a managerial change at Tottenham is not a certainty during the international break.

According to talkSPORT, Spurs are still holding discussions over Tudor’s future and are yet to make a final decision on the Croat.

Meanwhile, TEAMtalk have claimed that Vinai Venkatesham is now leading an ongoing internal review, and the Tottenham CEO is expected to take the final call on whether to stick with Tudor or replace him.
