2 hours ago 3

Liverpool looks to have answered any questions over Alisson Becker's future at the club, with the Reds claimed to have triggered the option on his contract.

The goalkeeper's current deal was set to expire in the summer, although Liverpool has held the option of a further year since his last extension in 2021. According to The Times' Paul Joyce, that option has now been triggered, meaning Alisson will stay at Anfield until 2027.

The news comes amid recent speculation over the 33-year-old's future, having been linked with a move away from the Reds in the summer, with interest said to be coming from Italy.
