Jamie O’Hara has issued a warning to the Tottenham hierarchy after they parted ways with Igor Tudor on Sunday evening.

Calls for Tudor to be sacked had grown into a fever pitch after the Lilywhites fell to a 3-0 loss at home to Nottingham Forest last Sunday.

The club have finally decided to act, and most Spurs fans are relieved to see the back of Tudor, who picked up just a point in his five Premier League games at the helm since replacing Thomas Frank.

However, one pundit has now issued a warning to the North London club about the big decision that lies ahead.

Jamie O’Hara claims job only half done at Tottenham with Igor Tudor’s sacking

O’Hara had been one of Tudor’s harshest critics, even labelling his appointment as the worst in Spurs history.

The pundit is thus understandably glad to see the back of the Croat, but he insisted that the real challenge now lies in finding the right replacement.

The former Tottenham midfielder suggested that Tottenham will have to turn to someone who knows the Premier League and will keep things simple tactically.

O’Hara wrote on X: “Igor is gone, had to be done that’s half the job, now we have to get the right person to save this season, someone who knows his formation knows the league and will stick to his team, give them belief and get a tune out of the best players, last throw of the dice.”

Will Spurs listen to fans’ concerns regarding their ‘dream’ managerial target

According to several reliable sources, Roberto De Zerbi is Tottenham’s dream managerial appointment to replace Igor Tudor.

However, the former Brighton boss may not be overly keen on jumping into a relegation battle with Spurs, and there is one even bigger concern.

Multiple Tottenham fan groups have called on the club to avoid turning to De Zerbi, questioning the cultural fit with the club’s ethos, given the Italian’s controversial past.
