Liverpool fans have made their thoughts clear on Mohamed Salah's exit.
On Tuesday, Salah announced in a bombshell video that he would be leaving Liverpool after nine years with the club. With the Reds, the Egyptian star lifted the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup trophies.
Considering what he's done for the club and the personal accolades he'd garnered while at Anfield, it's clear to some fans that Salah has reached his ceiling. This update comes after fans had a telling response to the 33-year-old's decision to move on at the end of the season.

Of the almost 3,000 responders, over 1,800 voted "yes" that it was time for the Egyptian star to find greener pastures elsewhere.
As of writing, only 890 voted "no," believing the star should have stayed longer. Simply put, over 66 per cent of the fans who voted claimed that it was time for the star and club to go in different directions, despite the success the tandem had accomplished over the last decade.
The latest update comes after fans were left shocked and in awe upon hearing the star was leaving the club. On Instagram, one fan posted: "You’ve written an incredible chapter full of success, unforgettable moments, and history. And I’m sure the next chapter will be even bigger and brighter. You’re a legend wherever you go, in any place, at any time."

Another fan on Instagram wrote a lengthy note on Salah's impact on the pitch, but also for African soccer supporters who have watched his ascent to superstardom. "Mohamed Salah isn’t just leaving a club… he’s closing a chapter that redefined greatness," the fan began.
"From the moment he arrived, he carried Liverpool on his shoulders—goals, records, trophies, and nights we’ll never forget. He didn’t just win games, he gave us belief again. Season after season, he proved that consistency at the highest level is what separates legends from the rest.
"For us as Africans, he is more than a player — he is our pride, our inspiration, the one who carried the name of Egypt to the biggest stages with dignity and excellence. And for Liverpool fans, he will forever be the King of Anfield. This hurts… because players like Salah don’t come twice. But legends don’t leave — they stay in history. Thank you for everything, King."

You broke barriers for so many people in the process by being who you are. You are not only a Liverpool Legend you are a Premier League Legend. Thank you."
Andy Robertson, who could also leave the club this summer, believes that Salah should receive a send-off befitting a player of his caliber. He wrote: "Mohammed, Thank you. 9 of the best years of our lives with amazing memories on and off the pitch. ...
"Your mentality is second to none and a lot of people could take note. You have pushed yourself every single day and always demanded more from yourself and others. A pleasure sharing the pitch with you for so long but even more so being able to call you a friend. You deserve a send off that reflects your status at LFC- the greatest. Second to none."
That said, club legend Jamie Carragher admitted that he was not interested in being part of a send-off for Salah. In a column, he noted that the Egyptian should have left Liverpool after last season, calling the 33-year-old's decision "a year too late."
