Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has shown his appreciation for one of Liverpool’s key midfielders, having revealed that Ryan Gravenberch is one of his favorite players to watch.
Although the Reds continue to struggle this season, with qualification for next season’s Champions League still up in the air as their place in the current campaign’s competition is also in the balance after defeat to Galatasaray this week, there is no denying that Arne Slot has plenty of quality in his side.
Florian Wirtz has taken some time to settle in, but the German star is beginning to show why Liverpool spent big on him, while some of his more established teammates have also managed to defy their side’s current problems.

Asked during an interview with Sky Sports this week which of his fellow Premier League midfielders he likes the best, Caicedo picked out Gravenberch alongside Brighton’s Carlos Baleba.
“The other player I like is Gravenberch,” Caicedo said. “So good. So good. And Baleba as well. Both of them. They are so good. And yeah, I normally watch them when they play. So yeah, I enjoy when they play.”

Gravenberch was one of Liverpool’s players in last season’s title triumph, with his shift to a deeper-lying role in midfield proving a revelation.
The 23-year-old has been rewarded with a new long-term contract at Anfield this month, which is thought to keep him on Merseyside until 2032.
"I feel really, really good," Gravenberch said after signing his new deal. "I was really proud to extend my contract at such a big club. So, I’m really happy that I can stay for many more years.
