Three Liverpool fixtures changed as Premier League issues new date for Man Utd clash

1 day ago 5

Three Liverpool fixtures in October have been moved for television purposes, with new dates and/or times issued for the clashes against Chelsea, Manchester United and Brentford.

Liverpool will still travel to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea on Saturday, October 4, but this game will kick-off in the later slot. It will be a 5.30pm kick-off in the UK (12.30pm ET).

The game with Manchester United at Anfield will be at 4.30pm (11.30am ET) on Sunday, October 19. And finally, the match with Brentford will be at 12.30pm (7.30am ET) on Saturday, October 25, though that could move again depending on the Champions League schedule, which is yet to be determined.

Before those three games, Liverpool will face Newcastle United, Arsenal, Burnley, Everton and Crystal Palace. The draw for the Champions League group phase will take place at the end of the month.

If Liverpool is scheduled by UEFA to play on Wednesday 22nd in the Champions League, the game with Brentford will not be in the early kick-off slot the following weekend. This is so that there is enough time for teams to recover and travel between fixtures.
