Tottenham Hotspur have made up their minds on whether to sell Guglielmo Vicario this summer, after months of speculation concerning his future.
Guglielmo Vicario has had an interesting time at Tottenham Hotspur, with a few notable highs, but plenty of lows too.
This season has seen the Italian deliver performances like his Champions League showing against Monaco. However, there have also been moments, such as the Fulham defeat where Vicario committed some major errors.
As a result, it has been reported that Vicario may leave Tottenham this summer, with the goalkeeper failing to win any popularity contests with the supporters.
Tottenham will allow Guglielmo Vicario to join Inter Milan
According to Gazzetta, Spurs have already given Vicario the green light to join Inter Milan this summer, a club he has been linked with recently.
Vicario was close to joining Inter before he moved to Tottenham, but the transfer failed to come to fruition. However, now there is a real chance to get a deal over the line.
This is even more likely as there could be some unrest after the 29-year-old was benched by Igor Tudor when Spurs faced Atletico Madrid earlier this week.
It was previously reported that Tottenham wanted between £21m and £25m to sell Vicario this summer.
Vicario has interest from multiple clubs
Inter are not the only team looking to snap up Vicario, with Juventus and Monaco both closely monitoring any developments from North London.
With so much interest in the shot-stopper, this summer really feels like the transfer window which could see Vicario depart Tottenham.
Therefore, it will not be surprising if Spurs continue to be linked with new goalkeepers in the coming weeks, with the search for a new number one potentially becoming a necessity.
