Tottenham’s Kevin Danso has emerged on the transfer wishlist of Besiktas, but they are also considering another defender who plays for a team from London.
Tottenham Hotspur are in a fight for Premier League survival, and until that concludes, it is difficult to know which players will remain at the club beyond the summer.
Kevin Danso is one name who has struggled to make it at Spurs, with the defender making only 15 league appearances this season.
Although the Austrian’s move only officially became permanent in the summer, he is one player who could weigh up his future in North London.
Especially since Besiktas have been linked with Danso, which means the 27-year-old has a way out of Tottenham if he decides that is what he wants.

Besiktas are considering signing Kevin Danso from Tottenham
According to Tavkim (as relayed by Sport Witness), Besiktas have Danso on their transfer list ahead of this summer. Apparently, talks have already been held to bring the central defender to Istanbul, and he is considered to be a ‘top target’.
However, Besiktas are also considering Fulham’s Issa Diop, and there is no plan for the Turkish club to sign both players.
TransferMarkt currently have Danso’s market value listed at £17.3m.
Danso could be given more opportunities at Tottenham after the summer
Right now, the futures of Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero look uncertain. Should both centre-backs choose to leave, that would provide Danso with a massive opportunity.
The former RC Lens man has had some good performances in a Spurs shirt, and he would likely play more often if his team’s two star defenders are out of the picture.
Maybe the best move for Danso’s future is to head elsewhere, but it is looking more and more like he could still have a reason to remain at Tottenham.
