Tottenham is reportedly bracing itself for another managerial change amidst growing uncertainty surrounding Igor Tudor's future ahead of this weekend's game against Liverpool.

Appointed by Spurs just last month on a contract until the season's end, Tudor has presided over four consecutive defeats. The latest setback was a 5-2 drubbing at the hands of Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie earlier this week, with Tottenham now gearing up for a trip to Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday.

Speculation about Tudor's future has been rife in recently, and the loss in Madrid has only fuelled these rumors. Now, new information has surfaced regarding the 47-year-old's tenure at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

According to The Athletic, Tottenham is exploring its options and formulating a contingency plan should it decide to sever ties with Tudor after this weekend's clash against Liverpool.

The report suggests that Tottenham is "actively" considering several potential successors who could step into the Spurs dugout if a change is implemented post-weekend (via Football London).

It remains unclear whether Tottenham would opt for another interim manager or seek a long-term appointment.

Tudor addressed journalists before Tottenham's fixture with Liverpool, with the interim Spurs manager revealing the difficulties he has encountered in recent days following the Atletico defeat.

"Tough, for sure. Not just because of last game, but because of the period and the past," Tudor said.

Tottenham has reportedly already looked at other options should Igor Tudor be fired after Sunday's game against Liverpool

"Not easy situation, not an easy moment and from other side a big challenge to change things.

"Like everything in life, you can choose how to see the situation. So, you can stay and cry or you can fight. You can be the victim or you can say I can change something. This is the message I want to start and what I told to the players.

"Everyone speaking, everyone has opinions and the life is always how you see it. The bottle is always half empty or half full.

"Here there is nothing full, there is a lot of empty things but difficult moments don't last forever. It will pass and I believe the players who will take this as a challenge, as an opportunity will stand up with the courage to change things, after this period they will become better people and better players."
